Cherin Mini Orin Meditation Bell - Black
The Cherin Mini is a smaller orin — a Japanese meditation bell — made of forged brass in Takaoka, Japan, by one workshop since 1938. It keeps the Cherin's shape and its clear tone at a smaller size, with a higher pitch and a shorter ring.
At about 46 mm (1.8 in) across, it fits on a home-office desk, a nightstand, or a narrow shelf, and it packs easily for travel. Tap it just above the small slit. The mallet stands in the hole at the top, and the bell keeps ringing after you return it.
Ring it to mark the start and end of a short meditation, a breathing break during the workday, or the close of your evening routine. Available in Gold, Black, and Silver.

- Place the bell on the included black pad on a flat, stable surface.
- Take the mallet from the hole at the top and tap lightly just above the small slit in the body.
- If you like, return the mallet to the top hole right after striking. The bell keeps ringing.
- When traveling, pack the bell, mallet, and pad together in a padded pouch or case.

Dust it lightly with a soft cloth. Rubbing it with a hard cloth, or while it is dusty, can leave fine scratches. Don't use solvent-based cleaners; they can damage the finish.
